The Hubble Space Telescope

The Hubble Space Telescope which was built by NASA, was named after the astronomer Edwin Hubble. It can observe in the near ultraviolet, visible, and near infrared spectra. As Hubble's orbit is outside our turbulent atmosphere, it can take extremely high resolution images. Hubble's detailed images provided us with a new insight of space and time.
